Abstract

Relying on the research of others into practice in the field, Porter demonstrates that women-of-faith peacebuilders have a unique role around the world in making and sustaining peace in conflict-ridden areas, often using their particular experience as women to devise grass-roots initiatives that engage with all parties in community-based reconciliation and rebuilding trust.
